Under this unique arrangement, a Malaysian medical qualification will be conferred to those who have successfully completed the MBBS programme at MSU's off shore campus in Bangalore. Further, a 27 year expertise from the M.S Ramaiah Medical Professionals will ensure a solid footing towards an excellent medical qualification.
Housed in a 65 acre campus, IMS is adjacent to the teaching hospital with 1050 beds. Other Health Science institutions - the Dental College, College of Pharmacy, Institute of Physiotheraphy and Rehabilitation, College and School of Nursing and Super-Specialty Institutes of Neurology are adjacently located to IMS as well.
Besides an array of technology base resource centre, the M.S. Ramaiah library has over 10,500 books on all branches of study. The journal section subscribes to 100 local and 265 foreign journals on Medical and related subjects. There is an archive with over 8,000 volumes of journal for reference.
